A key supporting role to assist me with the businesses that I run out of my home. Primarily a marketing agency (ladderupinc.com) but I also own a small sugar cookie bakery (sugarvancouver.com).
This position would best suit someone that has an aptitude for business activities including servicing customers via phone and email, marketing, and accounting. You also must have your own vehicle for occasion errands.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES include the following:
- Coordination of orders/billing/deliveries/activities of staff
- Communication with customers/suppliers/contractors (email and by phone)
- Aid in the creation of marketing materials
- Social media involvement
- Pick up and drop off of supplies/ orders
- Data entry
- Effective written communication
- Engaging personality both in-person and over the phone
- Ability to follow directions and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational and record keeping skills that demonstrate attention to detail
- Highly computer literate
- Aptitude with Excel, WordPress, Quickbooks, Mailchimp or Constant Contact is an asset.
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Some college preferred.
- Approx. 30 hour work weeks (9-4pm, mon-fri, flexible)
